ORVIETANO ROSSO D.O.C.

The wine Mi.Mo.So. is named after the Marquises Misciattelli Mocenigo Soranzo, who have had a passion for wine growing since 1780, carefully cherishing the values that tie together tradition and land. Produced from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Montepulciano grapes, this wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of Slavonian and Allier large oak casks, and second pour French Sessile barriques and tonnaux. The wine is further fined in bottles for a minimum of 12 months after being Mis en Bouteille au Château. A complex and fragrant wine, with an understated aroma of berries, Mi.Mo.So. has a deep ruby red colour, round and clean flavours, with a hint of cassis and dark fruits, and a notable minerality. This wine is suited for ageing and is excellent to accompany rich pasta dishes, game, roasted meat, or on its own as an aperitif.

“Enchanting aromatics with light sensations of dried roses and violets, black cherry, and a hint of mint. Full mouth feel, soft and enveloping, with a precise and elegant background of fruit with a long finish.”
